ESREL 2009 Annual
Conference
The annual ESREL Conference stem from a European initiative merging several
national Conferences into a major yearly conference under the auspices of the
European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA).
The conference will provide a forum for presentation and discussion of
scientific papers covering theory, methods and applications in the fields of
risk, safety and reliability to a wide range of sectors and problem areas.
Abstracts and papers are invited for submission through this conference web
page. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Technical Programme Committee in
accordance with standard practice and the criteria for the conference. Final
acceptance of the papers is based on review of the full papers. The congress
official language will be English.

Prague has been selected as the venue for upcoming ESREL
2009. Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, lies in the
heart of Europe and ranks amongst the most impressive historical
cities in the world. Prague was established as a town when Prague
Castle was built in 870. In the 11th century, the fi rst Czech King,
Vratislav I, chose Prague as his capital.
The city has always played
an important part in the history of the nation, country and Europe.
Since medieval times, Prague has been distinguished as one of the
most beautiful cities in the world. Prague is not only a centre of
cultural movements dating back for centuries (Art from every period
in history can be found here), it also exhibits a unique collection of
historical monuments, dominated by Prague Castle. |
